now, i'm getting a very good night sleep. and it's fantastic for my back! I think the latex foam matress is much better than a spring-air-matress. ---and of course it was a good price - janosh

I had a very comfortable sofa that I often would sleep on, and I was looking for a mattress that would feel similar. This mattress is basically a big block of polyurethane foam- similar to most sofa cushions. I find it quite comfortable and good at evenly distributing weight. Also, it seems to sleep cool, as described. As far as being "eco-friendly", maybe the cover is, but generally natural latex seems to be prefered for that.. As a single male I'm willing to chance some polyurethane offgassing, but I might think twice if I had kids or was a potentially pregnant woman. Of course, natural latex would cost at least three times as much. The actual noticeable smell wasn't too strong, and went away after about four days completely. - MK

Bed came quickly in a smaller package than I would have thought. I brought upstairs to the room it was to go in and when I opened it, it sprang to life. No funny smells which was a really good thing. I slept on it a couple of nights and it is pretty firm for me. Too firm for my back really and feel I need to get a topper to cushion a bit more. I like product overall thus far. - imagebyvic
