When our in-home office was relocated to a better space, we had a small study with no furnishings just as one entered the house. We had always wanted a dual function game table, but most sets were beyond our budget at the moment. Plus, we needed a game table that would fit in with some antiques from the mid-1800s. This table met our needs wonderfully. It is not fine furniture in terms of the woods used or even the skill in staining. But it is GOOD furniture and the small flaws actually make it look more of the period and like an antique. It was ridiculously easy to assemble (Screw in 4 legs) and cleverly designed. For people who like classic looks, but need to do it on a budget, this is an excellent choice. - Jamesrfitz
