This table is great. The finish and construction are good quality. It is a wonderful end table for a living room (where I currently have it in my house) The bottom shelf is a nice little place to stash throw blankets and things like that. I think that it would also make a good nightstand for a platform bed. It can match either mission style of japanese-modern decor, so it's pretty versatile. I highly recommend this piece to others. I think that I may also purchase the matching coffee table in the future. - Neanderloid
