I can be meticulous to a fault when making a purchase (which drives my girlfriend crazy sometimes), but I couldn't be happier with these stools. They came through the mail in packaging that can only be described as the Mother of all packaging - I cannot imagine any Carrier managing to cause any damage to these stools with the way they were packaged. In fact it took longer to remove all the wrappings than it took to put them together! Anyway the quality is second to none; I ordered the black frames (which are powder-coated to perfection) and the dark cherry wood seats that have a very nice finish. They are the perfect height, quite comfortable and attractive. Plus, and I love this part, they are quality-made in the USA! - Radioman
