This is a terrific-looking product, and a great space-saver. I own well over 1000 CDs and they took up only 3/4 of the unit, leaving plenty of room for DVDs and VHSs. Set aside a solid afternoon or evening for assembly (especially if, like me, you're no handyman): the unit comes in 3 long, flat cartons, each of which weighs a ton. The instructions are reasonably clear, though, and assembly went fairly smoothly. Make sure you have a good-sized Phillips screwdriver as you'll need it for virtually every step. I never did manage to get the doors perfectly aligned; but they look and work just fine. I'm just obsessive-compulsive about things lining up just so. - Ricko

Very beautiful and duriable piece of furniture ... I will be using it primarly for cd's and dvd's as i am a collector of music... The only thing i had a problem with was the instruction letters were too small for an older person to read.... - Jack
