Needed 2 bar stools to go with a dark cherry pub table we recently purchased (elsewhere) for a small kitchen nook. Pub height made swivel a necessary feature as it isn't easy for most people to scoot the chair closer from a seated position and avoids damage to the wood floor from dragging the chair. We are very pleased; it is exactly as pictured; installation was a bit tricky. 2 people makes it easier. We initially thought the mounting bracket on the chair back was welded incorrectly; however, after a little muscle and tightening each side just a few turns at a time, back & forth, it came together fine. I love these barstools for around my kitchen island - great if you have oil-rubbed bronze features in your space. The style is very classy and sophisticated. Some parts are a bit difficult to assemble with one person. But a wonderful accent to my kitchen for a great price compared to others. I would definitely buy these again. - Brandy
