We ordered the frame with the bed. It was a profound struggle to get the final bolts in place as the frame was bent. That took two people and a lot of muscle to bend it with vice grips. Once assembled, the bed looks lovely in the guest room. Fits in a small room quite well. With the open look of a metal frame, it does not loom large in the room. - Bargain hound
