In the color description it said "medium fruitwood"...I got just "fruitwood", it is much lighter, and more red than pictured. I'm trying to match my medium oak desk. Have to figure out how to do that !!! This is the only armless desk chair, in wood, I could find that would "go" with my kneehole desk. The chair is very nicely made, all solid, real wood. I had no idea there was "assembly required", what there was was fairly easy. Aside from the color problem, it is a very nice chair, and I know I will enjoy having it in my family room - Snickelfritz
