Used this twin-sized bed as a guest bed for a pajama party a couple of weeks ago and it worked very well. Purchased a 5-inch foam mattress and a feather-bed to put on top of it. With those additions, it uses regular twin sheets and is quite comfortable. Some of its best features are the smooth, high-quality finish, the ease with which it unfolds and fold up again, and its overall sturdiness. Very nice. Price is what prompted me to try it in the first place. - Marsh

I purchased this bed frame for my son who needed a bed for his college apartment. Using this frame eliminates the need for a box spring. The frame folds up to a small size for easy storage when not in use. There is no assembly all you have to do is unfold it. In addition I was very impressed with the quality of construction. I had always wanted a platform bed but did not like the ones that I had seen. I did not like the wood frame that came up around the matteress that could possibly hurt you when getting in and out of bed. This is a perfect foundation to use in the place of box springs. I purchased this frame for my daughter.She moved to her own apartment 6 months ago and took with her an older box spring to go with her mattress.The box spring lasted about 5 months before it literally fell apart.We were debating options for her as her apartment is rather small.After much searching I decided this might be the right way to go.I purchased the 1200 pound frame figuring it would be more heavy duty and last longer.I am so glad I bought this!I was skeptical when I ordered it,but,after helping her set it up we were convinced.I asked her a week later how the frame was and she said it was so much better than a conventional box spring,she is tickled pink! The only downside was the very poorly written instructions that came with it,but,it is not difficult to set up.A few screws and that's it.I would definitely recommend this to others. - Awesome Mom

I got this within two days of ordering (fast!) and when I saw the box it looked small. But once all was assembled (in about 15 minutes), this frame holds the mattress without a boxspring and is still comfortable. Plenty of storage undereneath as well. Great product! - JM

The solid construction will last a lifetime! It folds down to next to nothing for moving, or storing away if you'll be using it only for occasional guests. Since there's no need for a traditional boxframe, I saved money (yeah!) and the inconvenience of carrying the awkward boxspring up a flight of stairs. The mesh design protects the mattress, compared to the slat-design of lower-end products. My purchase of the Pragma bedrame and a quality mattress was such a great investment, and has me sleeping soundly every night! - Practical Princess

This product is great if you want something simple and not at all fancy. The height of the product [14"] is great for storing shoe boxes, comforters & blankets underneath the bed. This bed frame gave us an additional foot around the bed which in turn made our room a bit more spacious than before. The fact that this was a quad-fold steel bed frame, made me curious to buy it, and I am glad I did; my husband liked it as well. It took longer to break-down the platform we had than it was to set up this new one. This bed frame will be easy to fold & transport if in the future we need to move. - CACOLIBRI
