I bought the Maddie Hillsdale twin bed headboard and footboard for my 3 year olds big girl room. I already had a twin bed frame that accepted a headboard and was going to look for attachments to add a footboard, but ended up deciding to go ahead and buy this bed frame. I'm so glad I did! It was SO easy to set up and fits the head and footboard like it was made for it. I read that you should only add brackets to an existing bedframe as a last resort, and a frame that is made for a head and footboard is always going to be more secure. I love this bed frame! If you're thinking about buying it, get it! Set up was like 10 minutes, maybe! - Mia's Momma
