The whole thing was pretty easy to assemble. The drawer instructions were a little unclear, but we figured it out. Overall, the packaging was excellent-the box was in pristine condition whe it arried. However, the desk top had some scratches on it. We are keeping b/c they were minor and we didn't see them until we had the desk asembled... - J G
